free necklace

He loves to gift her with diamonds and colorful precious gems,
She loves to wear Faux...to seduce him with her gypsy flair,
She keeps her diamonds under lock and key,
Security my dear....security.

Floor sweep beads have been persuaded to show off again on this delightful necklace. A bit faux, a bit brassy, slightly imperfect, with a bit of alchemy. Want this necklace? It's Free. All you have to do is leave a comment and, agree to pay it forward by making something with your own two hands and give it away for no reason. You do not have to own a blog, but if you do, please share your giveaway. You have until July 28, 2008, 8 pm MST to leave your comment and your email address. I will announce the winner on this blog.
I was the lucky winner of a beautiful pair of earrings by Ruth Rae in her pay it forward giveaway. You can see them and her other wonderful creations here.

  3. I Love..., love the idea of paying forward give away! What a wonderful way to share our art with others and motivate them to pass it on. You are the most creative person I know and I admire your heart, soul and creativity. I'm going to offer one on my blog too!

  4. Cory, your work is exquisite, as usual. I would be honored to wear this piece!!! It is beautiful, and most certainly does have that "gypsy/bohemian" flair that I adore so much. I have been "studying" true artist pieces to try my hand..as well as making some molds to use with resin or polymer clay additions, instead of purchased embellishments. I am crossing my fingers here and hoping to win. Hisses, Rockin Robin (stampinsavage@yahoo.com)

  13. Hi Cory!
I love this necklace, your blog, and your art!!!
I would LOVE to win this beautiful necklace! The pink dangle beads really work well with the central pentant and the dangly on the bottom of the pendant.
If I won this necklace, it would be the treasure of my jewelry collection!
I don't have a blog, but I belong to many art groups on yahoo and I think I would probably make either a brooch or a bracelet to pay it forward, possibly both.
Thanks for sharing this extraordinary necklace without asking for money!!!
    Big happy hugs,

  16. I love this necklace, especially the main piece in it. Very unusual. I already like to make things and give them away to people I think need them. I have a group (although members rarely post!) and if you want a look the addy is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/handmade_smiles/ Anyway, if I win the necklace I will do make something especially to pay it forward. My email addy is: astra1912@yahoo.com. Arlene :)

  28. What a generous and inspiring thing to do! My heart is smiling right now. And the necklace is gorgeous. I too make jewelry, amongst lots of other stuff I love to make, with only so many waking hours - so I trade-off and do things seasonly - as spirit leads. But, I will keep this in mind when I dip back into my beads.. I'll leave my jewelry blog link to share w/you.

Thanks again for this wondrous project.
