flores de maria

Title: FLORES DE MARIA
Size: 15x15
Medium: Transparent Watercolor
I painted this watercolor to honor my aunt Maria. She had the most beautiful flower garden. I always thought that she was blessed with magical powers because she could plant a rock and it would grow for her. She planted banana trees in the front yard of her home in Arizona that actually produced bananas. She lived to be 100.

celabrate women series

I have been doing a series of artwork called Celabrate Women. The figure has always been foremost in my work. This piece is only 3x4 with some even smaller that are becoming the focal to my art jewelry line. This piece is collage and stamping, plus a charcoal and colored pencil drawing of the face. This tiny piece of art is available for purchase.

deliberately mismatched

He called her Daisy, she was a daring and mysterious soul who loved romantic encounters. He enticed her by gifting her one earring at a time...to keep her interested and waiting so he thought...but she wore them beautifully mismatched, she waits for no one.
Deliberately Mismatched is my new line of earrings born from a collection of single orphaned beads, odd handcrafted beads, creative stuff, and charm swaps.
They will soon be available for purchase.
