I have not posted a painting in quite a while...it's time. This painting was started in almost total darkness, allowed to incubate for a few months before it was picked up again. This time I drew the figure, worked out the composition and finished it in less than three hours. Seth from The Altered page has features some of my work...check out the artist's registry on his website to see some fabulous work by more than 95 artist's. You can start by clicking here.

Title: THE BLUE BOUQUET
An antique brooch of flowers in your favorite color of blue, each centered with diamonds....faux of course. The pin back on the brooch wandered off, so now it shines as a pendant on this delightful necklace of mixed metals, beads, charms and a couple of safety bundles that hold the vintage chains in place. A vintage blue glass bead, a small metal cross and a tiny heart dangle ever so delicately from a found metal circlette. The chain is 28 inches long so it does not need a clasp. The dangling fringe measures 2 inches below the pendant. This item is available for purchase. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
