I have not posted a painting in quite a while...it's time. This painting was started in almost total darkness, allowed to incubate for a few months before it was picked up again. This time I drew the figure, worked out the composition and finished it in less than three hours. ReplyDeleteIt is fascinating to re-visit an "old" project and see it anew. I love the delicate layering in this ainting. There is an etheral quality in it that makes me want to get lost in every fold of color.
