watercolor portrait

This is a sample of what I do with left over demo pieces. The demonstration was about reverse printing, collage and over spraying. Months later, I used the demo piece to teach a beginner watercolor portrait class. I love the marks where the reverse printing became part of her hair, some will see the marks on her face as mistakes...I see them as creative opportunities. I will be teaching these techniques this fall in Fort Collins , Colorado. Check this site and here also for workshop information.

I really love this piece, Cory, and it sounds like the technique is as interesting as they get.

I should look into the classes in Ft Collins - it's not that far away.

I left this comment already but it did not post so if there ends up being two - my apologies.

I love this piece, Cory, and am intrigued by the technique.

Ft. Collins isn't that far away. Perhaps I should think about getting up there in the Fall

Cory - thanks for your comment and I'm compelled to comment on everything I've seen here on your blog. Wish I would have seen it during the OWOH!

Beautiful talent.
